DOING WHAT IT TAKES

DOING WHAT IT TAKES  Some realtors do whatever it takes to help their clients. I recently saw a facebook post of a realtor mowing his clients yard in loafers! I recently paid my handyman to board up a door on a trailer I have listed. I had a luxury listing where the seller was in foreclosure and could not afford to pay his power bill, so I did for him. I also helped with closing costs for first time homebuyers who did not have the money to close on the home so we could get the deal done. These are really nice gestures and I feel part of my duty as a realtor and a human being. It is important to treat your clients well. Going above and beyond is not always the case but it is my goal. But what about when it comes to selling your home with communication? Let’s discuss communication. Dale Carnegie said “Enthusiasm is that ingredient of vitality mixed with a firm belief in what you are doing that ensures the success of any project you undertake.” I am thrilled & feel happy when someone replies to my texts or phone calls with enthusiasm. Doesn’t it make you feel better to get a text charged with positive energy and emojis vs one without a pulse? There are many with no pulse and you wonder ‘are they enjoying life?’ When I list a home incredible feedback is key. I know if you are selling a product that you want to know what others are thinking about it, how it makes them feel, is it worth it?   Frazier Hughes is number one at selling your home in The Roanoke Valley and Writer for The Valley Business Front!
